To mark the 150th anniversary of Beatrix Potter the Lakes International Comic Art Festival (LICAF) called on students of the arts to reinterpret and reimagine Beatrix Potter’s tales or characters.

The festival encouraged students of the arts to reimagine the characters, tales or artwork of Beatrix Potter by giving it a modern or unusual twist in a comic art style, with many of the entries being showcased at the festival.

My submission for the 'Story of Mr Tod' came joint runner-up and i travelled up to Kendal for the prize giving and comic festival in October - even managing to meet illustration hero Luke McGarry, and get my own personalised Sad Chewie!
